Accommodation

 Lincoln College offers a wide range of accommodation for conference delegates. Accommodation is flexible and can be tailored to suit conferences of different sizes and format.

The College can offer up to 250 rooms for delegates. (Do bear in mind that the availability of accommodation varies from time to time, depending on student occupancy and the schedule of the university acadmic year). Accommodation is in three locations, all of which are in the heart of Oxford:  


Accommodation in and around the central College site in Turl Street:

  • 66 rooms in the three medieval quads in the central College (63 have en-suite facilites)
  • 109 rooms in Turl Street,  many located in the old Mitre Hotel, formerly one of Oxford's principal coaching inns  -  some en-suite, all with hand-basins and shaving points, etc
  • most of these rooms are single-occupancy, but up to 40 or so can be made available as double/twin rooms



Accommodation in the High and Bear Lane: 

  • up to 30 rooms
  • some single bedsit style, with hand-basins and shaving points and ample shared bathroom facilities
  • some 2- / 4-bed apartments with bathroom and kitchen can be offered, subject to availability



Accommodation in Lincoln Hall at Museum Road: 

  •     70 newly-refurbished rooms in a row of historic Victorian town houses
  •     all rooms have en-suite facilities and access to kitchens
  •     24-hour manned entrance lodge
  •     landscaped courtyard garden
  •     adjacent to the conference and meeting facilities in the Lincoln EPA Science Centre
  •     5 minute walk to Carfax (centre of Oxford)


Toiletries and towels, tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all rooms. All rooms have telephone and data-point connections, allowing access to the internet.
