Living Lincoln Campaign
A Lincoln College education, grounded on the strong foundations of the tutorial system, supports the cultivation of talent, intellect and leadership. We are proud of our diverse, vibrant student body and Fellowship, and our international, dynamic community.
We want to ensure that Lincoln remains an exemplar of all that is best about an Oxford collegiate education. The success of our community depends on our ability to attract the best students at all levels, regardless of circumstance. We need to safeguard the close contact teaching of the tutorial system, and maintain the sense of community that comes from living and working within the historic college environment.
Higher Education is at a turning point. As of September 2012, tuition fees increased threefold to £9,000 per undergraduate per year and government funding was dramatically cut. The average cost of a three year undergraduate course including living costs is now around £51,000.
This is the moment for Lincoln to look to a future when we will have the financial security to be self-sufficient, to set our priorities, and ensure that Lincoln's tradition of excellence is secure.
