Open Days provide an excellent introduction to life and study at Lincoln College and at Oxford colleges in general, and include an overview of how an Oxford college community works, as well as opportunities to meet current undergraduates and tutors.
Oxford University open days in 2015 are taking place on the 1st and 2nd July and the 18th September.
For the full experience, book in for our programme…
The formal programme will run between 12:20 and 14:30 and includes:
From 12.00 - Registration
12:20-12:45 - Lunch in the Dining Hall.
12:45-13:30 – ‘The College experience explained’: A panel session with members of the Lincoln community.
13:30-14:00/14:30 - Meetings with our tutors for your preferred subjects.
There is also limited accommodation available for the night before each day, available to students who are attending the formal programme and who will be traveling a distance of more than 100 miles.
To book onto our programme as an individual, please fill in the Individual Open Day Booking Form . Please note that, although anyone is welcome to come to our various talks and to lunch, accommodation is only available to those travelling from more than 100 miles away.
For school groups travelling from more than 100 miles away, please fill in and return the Group Open Day Booking Form. We can only accommodate up to five students and one teacher per school.
If you have any further enquiries about booking an open day, please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
…or drop in to see us!
Prospective applicants are also very welcome to drop in throughout the day – Lincoln will be open between 10am and 5pm. Drop-in visitors will be able to:
- Take a tour of the College with current Lincoln students.
- Chat to our friendly undergraduates about life at Lincoln.
- Find out more about courses and applications from our admissions staff at our ‘expert desk’.
- Sign up for any remaining places in our tutor meetings (before 13:30).
If you are a Parent or a Teacher…
Between 12:45-14:00 we will be running parallel sessions for those who are accompanying students booked into the formal programme. We regret that there is no space for parents or teachers at the student sessions.
Parents may wish instead to attend the programme of parents' talks taking place in the University Examination Schools.
Teachers are also warmly welcome to drop in to the Front Quad at Lincoln, where our Senior Tutor and Schools Liaison Officer will be available to answer any questions you may have about supporting your students.
Other opportunities to visit
Prospective applicants are very welcome to drop in and look around the College throughout the year. You are advised to call in advance to check that Lincoln is open.
Teachers wishing to bring a school group on a different date may wish to look at our schools liaison pages.
