Lincoln welcomes visitors to the College and does not charge an admission fee. However, we only allow small groups; no large tour groups will be admitted.
Our opening hours for visitors are Monday-Friday 14.00-17.00 and Saturday-Sunday 11.00-17.00.
Entrance is via the main gate on Turl St (between Broad St and The High); the Porters in the Lodge next the main entrance are able to provide information sheets for visitors.
The College asks visitors to keep noise to a minimum and to remember that staircases are strictly private. The only exception to this is Staircase 2 in the Front Quad: at the top of the first flight of stairs on the left is what is thought to have been John Wesley’s room, which may be now viewed through a glass door.
The Grove may only be visited by current members of the College and by alumni.
Lincoln College provides a good degree of accessibility for visitors. The main entrance and the Porters' Lodge have level thresholds, and there are ramps between the quads on the main site, so external circulation is straightforward.
The Hall has a reasonably level entrance, as does the ante-chapel. The main Chapel has one step, and can be accessed via a portable ramp; please speak to the duty porter.
The Wesley Room is on a first floor, and can be reached via a single flight of steps with hand rails on both sides.
