Lincoln Unlocked Special Event

Saturday 30 March 2019

6 - 7.30pm - Drinks at the Rector's Lodgings and Auction Event in the Library
7.30pm - Dinner in Hall

Join Lincoln alumni and friends for a Black Tie event in the Lincoln Library for a chance to view a selection of special items from our historic collections, before enjoying a three-course dinner in Hall.

There will be 14 items on display - including the manuscript of a poem by Edward Thomas, John Wesley's walking stick, and two exquisite Hebrew scrolls (pictured below). Many of these items are normally held under lock and key in the Bodleian, so this is a unique opportunity to get up close to some of the College's rarest treasures.

Dr Susan Brigden, Dr Perry Gauci, Professor Stephen Gill, Professor Peter McCullough and Mr Nigel Wilson will be among the Fellows who will be showcasing items during the evening.

Read more about the items on display in our Lincoln Unlocked brochure.
